Where and how to submit a complaint
If You are dissatisfied with insurance services or any insurance product of the Insurer, or if you disagree with the Insurer’s decision on reimbursement of loss, you can file a complaint against the Insurer in oral, written or electronic form. Upon your request, the Insurer must provide you with a standard material or electronic complaint form.
A special structural unit of the Insurer is obliged to review the complaint within a reasonable time and report the results in accordance with the “Procedure for receiving and reviewing consumers’ complaints”.
The Insurer's “Procedure for receiving and reviewing consumers’ complaints” is available on the Insurer’s website. The maximum period for the review of a complaint is 30 (thirty) calendar days, although the procedure may provide for a shorter period.
If you have not received an answer to your complaint or are dissatisfied with the Insurer's response, you can apply to the Insurance State Supervision Service of Georgia in writing.
