On February 8, 2019 appointed as the Chairman of the Insurance State Supervision Service of Georgia.
2012 - 2016 Member of Parliament, Chairman of the Budget and Finance Committee, Chairman of the Georgia – USA Parliamentary friendship group. Declared as Champion in initiating legislation in VIII th Parliament of Georgia. Author and co-author of 41 Laws, including on “Investment Funds”, amendments to “Tax code”, “Hybrid car taxation”, “Public service” Law, etc.
2010 - 2012 Chairman of the Economic Council of “Free Democrats” Party.

Author and co-author of several dozen laws and legal amendments, including: Law on Monopolistic Activity and Competition; Law on Foreign Investment; Law on Insurance; Law on Privatization; Law on Consumer Rights Protection; Law on Advertisement; Law on Statistics; Law on Securities; Law on Electricity; Law on Oil and Gas, etc.
1994 - 1995 Consultant of the World Bank (Washington D.C. ) worked on: Agriculture Privatization and Development Project in Georgia; Restructuring and Privatization of Loss-making Enterprises Project in Georgia
